Rob Robinson

My name is Rob and I manage Bad Azz Dogz.

I am a disabled combat vet', but also an accredited photo-journalist.
My health had deteriorated over many years until I could not function at work. However, Iv'e never been one to sit around long.

One day, I discovered an old camera I had many years ago had survived and after some simple repairs I started taking pictures of my Border Collies at the beach.

One thing led to another and after starting a Facebook page for them and a GoFundMe specifically for Bristol's mounting veterinary costs, the response has grown amazingly fast as we travel Central Florida sharing the stories of all the Bad Azz Dogz we meet.

As the page has grown it provided an opportunity to help more dogs and families by building a friendly site to "Entertain, Educate & Encourage" people to active fulfilling lives with their own Bad Azz Dogz.

This mission can greatly reduce the number of surrendered dogs to shelters and reduce recidivism as an active dog family is invested in their canine companions and create a forever dog home.

The VA is helping with cost of living but have no means of assisting with the dogs and so - after much prodding - Bad Azz Dogz was created.

ABOUT Bad Azz Dogz

By Dogz 4 Dogz

Bad Azz Dogz started in June 2018 to raise awareness and help an injured Border Collie named Bristol. Both Bristol and her mom Tess, were seriously injured during a severe storm. Tess never recovered and we lost her in October 2017.

The Start
There are few pictures of Tess or any of the many dogs that I have had, raised and trained over many years. So the photography was the first thing that helped create a different experience for many of the first fans.

With experience in news gathering, the feature pieces followed, and as each element has been added, the following grew rapidly, and in a few months became one of Florida's most loved on-line sites for everything from adoption to serious competitions for dogs and their owners.

Today
As the Bad Azz Dogz has grown in popularity it has also evolved

We now focus on nourishing active k9 families. From first day in the new home for adoptions and pups from kennels, we feel it is critical for the owners to get active with their pups. We hope to bring entertaining and helpful information on how you can do more than walk your pup as we strongly feel an active dog home is a forever dog home.
