First Annual K9 X Games 2026 Labell, FL.
With the support of many sponsors the first annual 2026 Florida K9 X Games went off this last Saturday the 17th October 2026 at the Grassy Run Ranch near Labelle, Florida. The event was partner hosted by the Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue and Mr. Lucky Dog's Sanctuary, Inc. and featured several games from Lure coursing to costume contest and a Police K9 demo., provided by the local sheriff’s department. The dogs and muddy paws obstacle course were the highlight of the day with over a dozen willing handlers, and their dogs tackled the various obstacles on this course sprawled across the farm.
Wrapping Up
A special mention for Michelle Delaney from Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue. Her enthusiasm and un-tiring work on bringing this event together was truly inspiring. The rescue specializes in helping Florida' s Germen Shepherd population in need of help.
We engage the community through adoption events, volunteer and foster opportunities, fundraising, and public outreach to reduce euthanasia and improve the lives of German Shepherds everywhere.
