We have places like the Central Florida Dog Sports in Deland, FL. here that keep up the activities for all our Bad Azz Dogz all year. Gordan and wife Cheri started the club in November 2017, but hit the ground running and no sign of slowing down.
With multiple activities from Agility, and permanent Dock Dive pool (Ultimate Air Dogs) and others including "Scent Work". Which is what brought these Bad Azz Dogz to there place today

Scent work is a low intensity game for your pup. It tests there nose work and your ability to keep them focused on a task..
AKC Scent Work is a sport that mimics the task. of working detection dogs to locate a scent and communicate to the. handler that the scent has been found. Detection is done in a variety of. environments and often during changing conditions.
Levels for everyone..
From Novice to Master, the time based search for the "scent" offers several variations (Exteriors, Buried, etc) and is available to your pup as young as 6 months. Great locations like the Central Florida Dog Sports provides training in addition to trials and practice competitions to keep all you Bad Azz Dogz active!
What is "Scent Work"?
The sport of Scent Work is based on the work of professional detection dogs (such as drug dogs), employed by humans to detect a wide variety of scents and substances. In AKC Scent Work, dogs search for cotton swabs saturated with the essential oils of Birch, Anise, Clove, and Cypress. The cotton swabs are hidden out of sight in a pre-determined search area, and the dog has to find them. Teamwork is necessary: when the dog finds the scent, he has to communicate the find to the handler, who calls it out to the judge.. - AKC
